The Ataxia Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation receives the majority of its funding from individual donors and fundraising events.

ARSACS is a rare disease, and you can make a meaningful difference by helping raise awareness and advocating for those affected.

You might also consider organizing fundraising initiatives in your community to support ongoing research and clinical trials.

Staying informed is another valuable way to contribute. You don’t need a scientific background—advances in other neurological conditions can sometimes lead to progress for ARSACS. If you come across updates such as new treatments, clinical trials, or research developments, consider sharing them with the ARSACS Foundation so their team can review and evaluate their potential relevance.

Donate 

There are different ways to support ARSACS research. You can make a donation via on-line or by mailing a cheque. You can also make a donation: In Memoriam, a will or planned donation or a shares donation.

Organise a fundraising event or activity

Get creative — host a virtual event, take on a challenge, celebrate a birthday with donations, or organize activities like bake sales or merchandise sales. Every contribution makes a difference.

Diner des Producteurs 2025 raises 1.4 millions raised for research

On November 27, 2025 the 18th edition of the Dîner des Producteurs took place. The evening was a true success, with nearly $1.4 million raised in support of research. A special thank-you to our guest chef and winemaker: Chef Julien Royer of Odette in Singapore, as well as Jean-Luc Colombo of Vins Jean-Luc Colombo in France. We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to all the guests, sponsors, and donors who contributed, directly or indirectly, to making this evening an exceptional event dedicated to philanthropy.
